1.1 It is the intent of Dominion Technologies to advise new clients of all billing rates, payment terms and conditions of employment before any service is performed. This practice is used for establishing an immediate working relationship between Dominion Technologies and the client where there will be no "gray areas" and no surprises for either party.
2.1 In the event that the client will have objections to topics covered in this document, these topics must be brought to the attention of a Dominion Technologies representative immediately. Objections to topics covered in this document found after any service has been performed will be void and billing for that service will proceed as usual.
3.1 Dominion Technologies will only perform and provide computer services, repairs and upgrades as requested by the customer. Dominion Technologies will conduct honest, reasonable and considerate services. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service and support but specific results cannot be guaranteed. Dominion Technologies operates under the principles stated above and expects our customers to do the same.
3.2 Computer and network service and/or repairs are provided as a service. There may be circumstances under which your computer or network equipment can not be repaired. In these unique cases your equipment will have to be either rebuilt or upgraded.
3.3 The length of time required to service/repair your computer cannot be predicted.

3.4 You understand that in the process of working on your computer equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You agree that you have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, the data can be restored. Dominion Technologies will not be responsible for data loss.(See 6.4 below)
3.5 You authorize the technician(s) providing the service or repair to install anti-virus and/or any other necessary software on your computer to perform required services. All software will be deleted/uninstalled upon completion of the service.
3.6 Dominion Technologies is not responsible for any extra charges incurred for performing a remote assistance session.
3.7 Computer or network repair/service is provided as a first come first serve basis.
3.8 Dominion Technologies may refuse any work to any customer for any reason with or without notice.
4. Billing Terms
4.1 Computer servicing and repair services are billed at an hourly rate. Charges will be calculated in quarter-hour increments, rounded up by default and carry a minimum half-hour charge for onsite services including time spent in travel on client's behalf. We may, choose to round down to the nearest quarter-hour.
4.2 An estimate of cost for work will be provided before performing computer services/repairs. Estimates are not guaranteed.
4.4 Not all services can be completed on site.
4.5 In the case that there is an unforeseen deviation, beyond the above estimated amount, every effort will be made to contact you and inform you of the situation and receive authorization to continue or stop at the estimate limit.
4.6 In the case that you cannot be reached, work will stop until contact is established. Once reached, your decision to continue or stop will be honored by Dominion Technologies.
4.7 All services/repairs include sales tax unless otherwise specified.
4.8 If for any reason Dominion Technologies cannot complete the service, you will get a full refund and no charges for any work performed.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Full payment is due upon completion of services, upgrades, or repairs unless other arrangements are made between Dominion Technologies and the customer.
5.2 Computer parts, hardware and/or software that are ordered or special ordered must be paid in advance.
5.3 Dominion Technologies only accepts cash or checks at this time.
5.4 If the balance on the invoice is not paid in full within 30 days a 5% charge will be incurred for each month the balance is not paid in full.
6.1 Service(s) are provided in an effort to fix, upgrade or otherwise repair the computer or network system(s) for which you request such service(s).
6.2 Your system will not be intentionally harmed. The primary goal is to fix your system(s), not damage it.
6.3 In the case of accidental damage of data to your system or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system(s) such as viruses, bad configured software or hardware problems/failures—You agree to hold Dominion Technologies and any person(s) associated with Dominion Technologies or involved in the work being done for you harmless from damages resulting from such problems. You release Dominion Technologies and its staff from all liability for any and all damages.
6.4 It is your responsibility to backup your data. Dominion Technologies will not be responsible for any data loss. (See 3.4 above)
6.5 At customers
request, we can arrange backups or advise on best practices in performing same.
6.6 It is your responsibility to understand all warranties on the equipment on which you want Dominion Technologies to work on and you understand how these warranties will be affected.
7.1 Customer satisfaction is our utmost importance.
7.2 All services will be conducted in a professional, reasonable and timely manner. Also, taking into consideration the circumstances and nature of the technical problems.
7.3 Free support will be provided 30 days after service date for problems to be resolved from the service order, but not resolved.
8. Repair & Services Guarantee
8.1 All services and repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the completion date on the invoice.
8.2 If later found that the service or repair was incorrectly diagnosed by the technician; then Dominion Technologies will perform the repair/service free of any labor charge. Only parts will be charged if needed to correct the problem.
9.1 Free estimates. All repair/service estimates are free.
9.2 All service estimates are guaranteed for one month from the date of the original estimate.
10.1 Dominion Technologies respects your rights. We will never sell, trade or transfer your personal information outside of Dominion Technologies. We only collect basic information at the time you submit your service request. This information includes your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. You personal information is used solely by Dominion Technologies to fulfill your request for service or to contact you regarding your repairs.
11.1 Services rendered by Dominion Technologies shall be as an independent contractor and not as employee, agent, or servant. Client shall have no authority to and shall not bind or obligate Dominion Technologies in any manner whatsoever. Client shall not make any representations in respect to Dominion Technologies or the opinions of its consultants except as Dominion Technologies may specifically authorize.
